Known as the “Battle of the Bell”, these two schools located in Washington provide one of the best games in the Pacific Northwest. Mt. Spokane traveled on the road last season and took the victory 38-24. Mead looking to regain the bragging rights, travels to Mt. Spokane this fall when the series resumes.

Mt. Spokane

Rece is a two year letterman in both football and baseball. Rece has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. Rece is currently taking three AP classes and is a leader for the team both on the field and in the classroom.
Jacob Gatlin

Mead

Jacob has a 3.9 GPA and is a two-year letterman for the football team, earning all-league honors as an offensive lineman. Jacob’s class load includes AP classes, student government, and leadership classes. Jacob is an outstanding representative of Mead High School.

GAME SUMMARY

In this year’s “Battle of the Bell” Mt. Spokane opened with a punt return to the 22 yd line. The Mead Panthers scored a TD and the Wildcats answered to tie the game at 7. Another touchdown from Mt. Spokane and a field goal from Mead put the score at 14-10. A Mt. Spokane interception followed by a touchdown in the 3rd quarter took this game to final 20-10 with the Wildcats 2nd win in a row in this Rivalry matchup.
