When two of the best teams in the state meet, it is always a big game. This rivalry took off in 201 when Lynden won three straight state titles and Sedro-Woolley gaining state recognition. Since then, every game has been close with it coming down to the fourth quarter each year. Lynden looks to defend their home turf and continue their winning ways after beating Sedro-Woolley 14-6 last season.
