GAME SUMMARY

With 14 seconds remaining in a 10-10 tie, Valdosta kicker and Great American Rivary Schalor Athlete winner Brennan Goodson got the chance to complete a storybook ending to the 46th annual Winnersville Classic, and after missing three earlier kicks, he wasn't about to let that moment slip by. Goodson connected on a 32-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining to give No. 3 Valdosta a 13-10 win against Lowndes in yet another classic Winnersville matchup. In front of 11,000 fans,Valdosta coach Gillespie's faith in Goodson paid huge dividends as Valdosta scored only its second win against Lowndes over the past 10 Winnersville Classics. Valdosta’s running back Josh Norwood was named the games MVP, scoring the only teams touchdown.
