Continuing what would be a common theme for game, Lowell ran the ball consistently and often to control the game and the score for 3 quarters. A late touchdown by East Grand Rapids eliminated all thoughts of a shutout by Lowell but leading 34 to 7 late in the game assured a victory for the visiting team. David Kruse’s 93 yard, up the middle run was the highlight of the game by Lowell and it helped earn David with the MVP of the game. Lowell wins: 34 to 7.
