Emotions were high at the 60th Edition of the “Emotion Bowl” but not higher than the emotion that Skyline brought to the first half of the ballgame. After some costly Tigers’ turnovers and the Grizzlies scoring 14 points in the opening 3 minutes, Skyline scored on its first 6 consecutive drives and added a punt return by MVP, Zyan Crockett for a touchdown with the only blemish in the half occurring on one missed extra point kick. The Idaho Falls Tigers found the endzone midway through the 2nd quarter but also missed their extra point attempt. Demonstrating a “never quit” attitude throughout the game, the Tigers drove deep into Grizzlies’ territory just before half but turned the ball over on downs. The 2nd half was more of a defensive battle with both teams managing to score a touchdown each, making the final 55-13 in favor of the Grizzlies. The win made it 11 straight for Skyline and the goal posts got a fresh coat of Skyline blue as their reward in this fantastic rivalry game!
