This is one of the most heated rivalries in Virginia. Although both teams have fields of their own, the game is and always will be played at the Lynchburg City Stadium. Heritage has a brand new stadium under construction. The Heritage AD said “all of our other games will be played at the new stadium but the Glass game will always be played at the City Stadium.”

Eric Robinson

Eric played in the rivalry his sophomore, junior and senior years. During his junior year he caught the two point play pass from Doug Knowles to lead the Pioneers to their first victory in the rivalry.

At the end of the first half, Heritage was up 14-3 but it still appeared to be anyone's games. A strong opening drive gave heritage an 18 point lead making it 21-3. This appeared to be the straw that broke the camel’s back. Glass seemed to loose their motivation after the 3rd unanswered touchdown. Heritage scored again as the final nail in the coffin going on to end the game at 28-3.
