Known as the “Battle for Arizona Avenue,” the Chandler versus Hamilton game winner takes home the Arizona Avenue trophy. Chandler heads into the game as the #2 team in Arizona, accompanied by several promising players. Malik Reed, Gunner Maldonado, and Tate Romney only scratch the surface of the talent Chandler holds this year.  Anticipate an electric game that leaves rankings on the line and bragging rights for the winner of the cross-town rivalry.

Riley Barton

Chandler High School

Riley is an outstanding student athlete. He is committed in the weight room, the classroom and on the field. He is a quality leader on and off the field and is a great teammate that is always looking to help his team. Riley will be attending Colorado School of Mines on a football scholarship where he will be majoring in Computer Engineering.
Fin Lecky

Hamilton High School

Finn is a three-year varsity starter on the varsity football team and three-year letterman in track. He was selected all-region and all-state last year as a junior as an offensive lineman. He also volunteers his time helping at “Feed My Starving Children” and other local community projects. Finn currently plans to attend the University of San Diego and major in law

GAME SUMMARY

Hamilton took the lead in the first quarter and remained ahead up until the fourth quarter. Chandler quickly caught up and tied the game 35-35. At the end of the fourth quarter, Chandler takes the lead 42-38 and wins the game. Dae Dae Hunter got the team the winning points and won MVP.
