The Page High School Pirates will be honoring a special player this year. Sincere Davis, former captain and beloved individual, passed away in March from a tragic shooting.  Instead of retiring the star players jersey, the team decided that a different player will have the privilege of wearing it during a game this season. The “26 strong” theme will carry into the Grimsely-Page rivalry.  Since 1958, the North Carolina schools would compete for bragging rights in the historic match up. Page leads with a series record of 47-11-3.

GAME SUMMARY

Since 1958, the North Carolina schools would compete for bragging rights in the historic match up. Page went into this game with a series record lead of 47-11-3. Unfortunately for them, the series spread was shortened tonight with a 32-17 win by Grimsley. Grimsley started off strong, accumulating a 17 point lead by the end of the first quarter. Grimsley maintained a 20 point lead for the majority of the game, until Page managed to get one more touchdown before the clock ran out.
