Welcome to Great Mills, where the Chopticon Braves travel to face the Hornets of Great Mills High School. This classic rivalry has been a staple in the state of Maryland, and it is making its very first appearance in the Great American Rivalry Series this season. 

Since 2006, Great Mills has been in complete control of this rivalry, winning 38 of the last 44 matchups. In their first meeting this season, Great Mills prevailed, 66–52. However, Chopticon will be looking to play spoiler on the road in this contest and upset the Hornets in what appears to be another Maryland thriller.
