Glencoe had a 24-9 series edge over Hillsboro in the Rivalry, including a 49-22 win over the Spartans in 2013 and a 50-7 win over their rival in 2012. The Rivalry really started, according to Hillsboro AD Steve Drake, when they started having to share Hare Stadium with Glencoe in the 90’s. But in 2014 the night belonged to the Spartans who crushed the tide with an offensive show that yielded 49 points.
