The Gonzaga Eagles easily defeated the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas on Saturday afternoon in Washington DC on the campus of in front of more than 3,000 fans. This rivalry, dating back to 1891, is one of the fiercest in the DC area.

GAME SUMMARY

After a 8-3 season in 2012, the Eagles from Gonzaga will be looking to make some noise in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference in 2013. Gonzaga opened the scoring early with a twelve yard TD run by the eventual MVP Reggie Corbin. Gonzaga didn’t look back and led 27-0 at the break. After a scoreless third quarter the Eagles added another touchdown and went on to defeat the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas 34-0.
