The annual “Battle for the Bell” rivalry matchup between the Fountain Valley High School Barons and the Edison High School Chargers pits two nationally recognized teams against each other for a yearlong ownership of the Bell. The Bell is a reconditioned old, rusty train bell that was found in an antique store. For years, 10,000 fans have come to cheer on their team in the hopes of being on the winning side of the Bell. Edison is going for their 17th straight win over the Barons of Fountain Valley.
