With a crowd size expected to exceed 5,000 fans, the atmosphere promises to be electric.

Since its inception in 2004, this rivalry has produced unforgettable moments, and this year’s edition is poised to deliver another thrilling showdown. The Fairview Knights have dominated the series, holding a commanding 17-1 lead over the Boulder Panthers. However, the Panthers aim to defy the odds and rewrite history in their quest for redemption.

“This rivalry represents everything that makes high school football special. It’s a battle between two communities, and the passion from the fans is unparalleled,” said Rick Ford, founder and CEO of the Great American Rivalry Series. “The Fairview-Boulder matchup has been a cornerstone of our series for two decades, and it never fails to deliver excitement.”

Both teams share the same field, adding an extra layer of intensity to this cross-town clash. The Boulder Panthers, hungry for victory, will draw motivation from their lone triumph in the series back in 2012. Meanwhile, the Fairview Knights seek to maintain their dominance and extend their winning streak against their crosstown rivals.

In their previous encounter, the Fairview Knights showcased their strength with an emphatic 42-0 victory over the Boulder Panthers. However, in this fierce rivalry, past results hold little weight, as both teams understand that anything can happen on the gridiron.

As kickoff approaches, the anticipation reaches an all time high. Fans from both schools don their team colors and prepare to rally behind their beloved Knights and Panthers. The 20th season of the Great American Rivalry Series promises to deliver an unforgettable spectacle, showcasing the heart and soul of high school football in Boulder, Colorado.

A town that already is in the limelight for their football prestige, Boulder, Colorado brought us the game we all deserved. The Fairview Knights took on the Boulder Panthers for a show stopper that kept the crowd on their feet and cheering loudly. Out of the gate, the Knights didn’t come to play, putting up 4 touchdowns in the first half, one of those being a punt return that helped them sail into the end zone. The Panthers attempted to defend their territory with a pick six that shocked the crowd, but an interception by Fairview’s #1 Jordan Rechel caused the Knights to add to their touchdown total. A game of ups and downs ending with a victorious Fairview Knight’s home win, 49-7.
