The Frederick Douglass vs. Millwood football game has been taking place since 1978 with Millwood leading in a 23-20 series record. This isn’t just any ‘Soul Bowl’ and it’s not just a game, it’s so much more than that, as Coach Alexander stated; “Frederick Douglass and Millwood High Schools have the oldest rivalry in the state of Oklahoma. Also, both teams have achieved much success throughout the State in their long history of existence.” Millwood asserted their dominance last year and defeated the Trojans 56-0. September 14th, Douglass has the chance to recover from 2018’s devastating loss.
