A newly established rivalry will cement their legacy as two St. Louis area powerhouses will take their first battle on the Great American Rivalry Series stage. The De Smet Jesuit Spartans are back for vengeance as they were denied their back-to-back state championship hopes in 2020 by getting shutout at the hands of Raymore-Peculiar. East St. Louis High Flyers set to carryon their momentum from the previous two seasons, winning the state championship in 2019 and a successful 2020 campaign finishing the season at 6-1.

The Spartans of De Smet will march into Clyde C. Jordan Memorial Stadium on the campus of East St. Louis High School for a inter-state showdown for the ages.
