The “Football for Freedom” Trophy will be on the line when the Red Lion Lions host the Dallastown Wildcats in a Halloween weekend battle. Last year’s highly anticipated matchup saw the Lions jump out to a 48-14 lead at halftime, but an action-packed third quarter allowed the Wildcats to battle back to make it a 56-35 game. The Wildcats found the end zone only two more times, falling short in a 56-49 battle. This year’s installment of “Football for Freedom” will have even more on the line as both schools make their Great American Rivalry Series debut.
Ryley is a star inside the classroom and outside on the football field. While finding success as quarterback for the Lions, he manages to stay on top of his studies and sports an impressive grade point average among other academic honors. Riley plans to pursue a higher education upon graduation.
Seth is an important fixture of the varsity team, holding down the front line as a three-year letterman. He works just as hard in the classroom, earning numerous academic honors and boasting a 4.5 grade point average. Although he is undecided about his major, Seth plans to attend a four-year university.
