Welcome to Chapman Field at Giant Stadium in Pennsylvania, where 8,000 fans will gather for one of the states most intensely contested rivalries between the Cumberland Valley Eagles and the Central Dauphin Rams. First played in 2004, this matchup has quickly become a highlight of the Pennsylvania high school football calendar and will be featured in the 22nd season of the Great American Rivalry Series, celebrating over 100 of the nation’s greatest high school rivalries.

Across 24 total meetings since 2004, Cumberland Valley holds a close 14–10 series lead, including last season’s hard-fought 10–7 victory, adding extra intrigue to this year’s rematch. Beyond the game, the rivalry has produced standout talent—most notably Micah Parsons (Cowboys), who starred at Central Dauphin in this rivalry, before becoming an NFL All-Pro linebacker.

Circle September 19th on your calendar as these two proud programs meet once again. Will Central Dauphin cut deeper into the series gap, or can Cumberland Valley extend its lead?
