Brown Wonders in a storied rivalry game known as “The Bell Game.” This clash, the 15th oldest high school football rivalry in the nation and the longest continuous rivalry in North Carolina, dates back to 1931. Currently, A.L. Brown leads the series 44-42-4. 

Robert C. Bailey Stadium will be packed to the brim with at least 10,000 fans eager to see who will claim the bell this year. The Concord Spiders are determined to end A.L. Brown’s nine-game winning streak, which extended with a 27-7 victory in last year’s contest. 

As the 21st season of the Great American Rivalries series, this matchup promises to deliver another thrilling chapter in this enduring rivalry. Don’t miss out on this electrifying game—Friday nights are about to get even better!

Alex is a dedicated three-year varsity starter in football and a two-year letterman and state qualifier in wrestling. His athletic achievements include being selected for the South Piedmont All-Conference team in both sports. Notably, during the 2023-24 wrestling season, he earned the title of Most Outstanding Wrestler at the SPC tournament. In addition to football and wrestling, Alex excels as a standout player on the CHS men's golf team. With several Division 1 football offers on the table, he is currently weighing his options for where to continue his academic and athletic career. Alex's commitment and talent make him a remarkable athlete across multiple sports.
Parker Laughlin

Parker is a dedicated athlete and scholar, proudly serving as a 3-year varsity football player. In addition to football, he has also competed in basketball and volleyball during his high school career. His academic excellence earned him the title of Junior Marshall, recognizing him for one of the highest GPAs in the school. Parker is an active member of both the National Honor Society and Beta Club, demonstrating his commitment to leadership and service. Despite his busy schedule, he successfully balances his studies, athletics, and a full-time job at Stag N Doe, a beloved local establishment in Kannapolis. Parker exemplifies hard work and determination, both on and off the field. Parker is unsure of where he will be furthering his education but plans to stay in state.
