The 2025 edition of The Holy Bowl was another great showdown between Christian Brothers and Jesuit. It was mostly a defensive battle in the first half, until a couple Jesuit touchdowns late in the 2nd quarter put them up 21-0. At the end of the 3rd quarter, Christian Brothers stormed back with a lengthy drive that ended with a passing touchdown to make it a two score game and give the Falcons hope. But, the stingy defense of Jesuit forced two turnovers on downs on the goal line. Shortly after, the Great American Rivalry Series MVP, Running Back Kwanna Smith, scored on a 20 yard rushing touchdown in the 4th quarter to put Jesuit back up 21 points and put the game out of reach. Jesuit won 28-7 and extended their win streak against Christian Brothers to six games.
