Over four-thousand Northern Virginia football fans showed up to watch this rivalry between Westfield High School and Chantilly High School. Both teams were nearing the end of their season, however this game gives added meaning to the season regardless of the playoff picture. Despite the rain, the atmosphere and energy was amazing as both schools were amped up from the start for this rivalry.

Kevin Norizada
Westfield
Kevin has been a member of the Westfield football program for the last three seasons. His coaches describe him as the ultimate team player. He participates with enthusiasm and great effort. Kevin works with the younger players to help them learn the Westfield system and is very coachable himself. Kevin has a GPA over 3.0 and he has participated in Westfield’s FBLA. In his free time he volunteers at the local thrift store and enjoys watching football with friends and family. Westfield football is proud to have Kevin as part of their football family.
David Tammaro
Chantilly
David has been on both the varsity football and varsity basketball for the past 3 years and has maintain a 4.0 grade point average. David is a very active member of the Chantilly High School community, in addition to his sports and academics he is also an anchor on the “Knightly News” school TV program. David is an excellent example of what it means to be a complete student. We are proud to have David as a member of our school and football program.

Mike Giancola
Westfield
Mike graduated from Westfield in 2006 and then went on to graduate from Virginia Tech in 2010. During Mike’s varsity football career, where he was a lineback and a team captain, he never lost to Chantilly. Mike was a member of the 2003 State Championship Football team. Mike has returned to the Westfield Football program to coach since his graduation from VT.
Zach Hally
Chantilly
In 2006, Zach led Chantilly to the Virginia State Championship game. Zach earned 1st Team All State, and 1st Team All Met Honors. In addition he was named the 2006 Fairfax County Player of the Year by the Washington Post. In the regional championship verses Westfield Zach had multiple sacks and hurries on defense and made a key block on the game’s winning touchdown with 19 seconds to go in the game. Zach is one of Chantilly’s greatest players. The Chantilly-Westfield Rivalry game would not have the same meaning without the efforts of Zach. We are proud to have Zach Hally as alum of Chantilly High School.
