Virginia powerhouses, Chantilly and Westfield, will face off November 8th to show exactly why they are the two of the top teams in Northern Virginia. Every year since 2000, anywhere from 5,000-8,000 fans have filled the football stadium to watch the Chargers and the Bulldogs battle it out. This year, the game is being held at Westfield High School’s football stadium, and the competition is just as fierce as ever.

Marcus is a tremendous student and is a member of the Air Force JR ROTC. After graduating high school, he hopes to become a member of the Virginia Tech Core of Cadets and study Computer Science.

GAME SUMMARY

This game was extremely close through the half. Westfield made it on the board first with a 10 yard touchdown pass, but Chantilly quickly answered with a 65 yard touchdown pass of their own, which tied the game 7-7. Then, Chantilly's Harper caught an outstanding TD pass to give the Chargers their first lead of the game. Westfield managed a 1 yard touchdown, but missed the extra point that would have tied the game for them, making the score 14-13. Later in the 2nd quarter, however, the Bulldogs managed to come out on top In the 2nd quarter, a 30 yard touchdown pass that put the Bulldogs in the lead (14-20) was very quickly answered by Chantilly, who snatched the lead out of their hands (21-20). Mikal Legall then secured a lead for Westfield late in the first half. The teams continued like this until the 4th quarter, when Wesfield managed to extend their lead.
