Westfield made it on the board first with a 10 yard touchdown pass, but Chantilly quickly answered with a 65 yard touchdown pass of their own, which tied the game 7-7. Then, Chantilly's Harper caught an outstanding TD pass to give the Chargers their first lead of the game. Westfield managed a 1 yard touchdown, but missed the extra point that would have tied the game for them, making the score 14-13. Later in the 2nd quarter, however, the Bulldogs managed to come out on top In the 2nd quarter, a 30 yard touchdown pass that put the Bulldogs in the lead (14-20) was very quickly answered by Chantilly, who snatched the lead out of their hands (21-20). Mikal Legall then secured a lead for Westfield late in the first half. The teams continued like this until the 4th quarter, when Wesfield managed to extend their lead.
