As 4,500 people looked on at The Reservation on Friday night, the Rebels (3-1) bounced back from last week’s defeat in California by keeping Gaffney (0-5) winless. Though the host Indians scored the first points of the second half on a three-yard run by senior Jordon Shippy to cut the lead to 15-7, it was the closest they would come, as the short-lived momentum was halted by a 95-yard kickoff return immediately following. Final score was 29-7.
