The San Mateo vs. Burlingame rivalry is well known in the area – with the game going to the last second for the last few years. This year marked the 86th playing of the “Little Big Game” in the San Francisco Peninsula area.
HALL OF FAME
The San Mateo Bearcats came into the game hoping to re-live a last second win in this rivalry game two years ago. However, the incredible offense and defense of the Burlingame panthers overwhelmed the Bearcats and they won with a final score of 48-0. The Panther’s running back and Great American Rivalry Series MVP, #12 Keone Keahi, ran for over 60 yards and gave the Panthers three (3) touchdowns.
