This was their last “league game” against each other, as Burroughs will be in a new league next season. Burbank took the lead early in the first quarter, as running back Elijah Pendleton ran 62 yards for a touchdown. After taking this initial lead, Burbank never looked back. The Bulldogs dominated through the air, as quarterback Deshawn Laporte was 24/26 with 464 yards, and 7 TDs. The Great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete, Exodus Freeman ended with 2 TDs, and over 100 yards from scrimmage, and earned the Rivalry Series MVP award. This impressive and dominating performance by the Burbank Bulldogs led them to a 62-14 victory over Burroughs.

For all four years of high school football, Exodus has received the Scholar Athlete Award for his strong performance in the classroom and also on the field. He is an active member in the community and believes in giving back to those less fortunate. Exodus has been a volunteer to programs that assist with homelessness since he was a young boy.
