In a rematch of the 2023 KHSAA 6A State Championship game, the Trinity Shamrocks visited Bryan Station Defenders to kick off their 2024 season. The Shamrocks started off with a bang, scoring the first points of the game. Bryan Station responded with a short field goal to get points on the board, making it 7-3. The Shamrocks proceeded to dominate the rest of the 1st half, taking a 21-3 lead into the break. The second half was more of the same with Trinity extending their lead with another touchdown early in the 3rd quarter. Bryan Station’s defense did not back down and kept Trinity stagnate with 21 points for the rest of the game. The Defenders scored quickly in the 4th making the score 28-10 in an attempt to mount a comeback. However, the Trinity Shamrocks stood strong and were able to see out the game, winning 28-10 and defending their championship title.

Elliott Satterly

Elliott is a model student both in the classroom and on the football field. He has maintained an impressive GPA during his academic career while participating in numerous extra-curricular activities such as the football team, soccer team, the STEAM Academy of Lexington and being a dual credit student at BCTC. As an established player on the varsity squad, Elliott is a top contributor to the Defender offense.
Nicholas Lococo

Trinity

Nick is a four year varsity football letterman who has also earned multiple varsity Track and Wrestling letters while at Trinity High School. Nick has earned multiple “Shamrock Awards” for academic excellence and was awarded Academic All-State honors for the 23-24 school year. Nick is a member of the National Honors Society, BETA Club, FCA and Yearbook Staff. Nick plans to further his academic and athletic career at Washington University in St. Louis.
