One of the oldest rivalries in California, Beaumont and Banning will battle yet again for bragging rights and “The Wheel.” Who will take it home in 2019?

Both teams have had periods of dominance since the rivalry began in 1934, but it has been fairly even as of late. Each game the last four seasons has been decided by less than 8 points, including a 28-20 Beaumont win last season over the Broncos.

Each year Cameron has earned scholar-athlete awards and achieved straight A’s. This offensive line unit member is a two-year varsity letterman for the Beaumont football team. He has gotten a head start on college and completed multiple articulated courses through Mt. San Jacinto Community College.

Banning High School

With his 'lead by example mentality', Raynier has been a role model to his peers. He represents Banning High School with great pride and respect. Raynier embodied what it means to be a student athlete at all times. His ambitions to make a difference have resonated on the field, on campus, and throughout the community.

Banning won the coin toss at the start of the game but soon fumbles the ball, giving it to Beaumont. They scored shortly after but didn't stop there. Banning intercepted the ball at a later play but fumbled again. Beaumont scooped the ball up to extend their lead. Their QB was busy scrambling 15 yards for another score. They later made a 54 yard touchdown to finalize their position.
