This historic bell game is one of the most heated rivalries in California. It started back in 1969 and has been played every year since. The winner not only gets to take the bell home for the year but also gets to paint it the schools color. Apple Valley led the series 35 – 15 and had previously had the bell in their possession for the year. With Apple Valley’s epic 76-21 win last year, ensured that the bell would remain orange for one more year.
