GAME SUMMARY

With a 14-7 lead for the Cougars, it looked like that would be the half time score, until Cary put the ball in the end zone with 7 seconds left in the half. The score was 14-14 at half time, and the second half was a guaranteed slugfest. On the first play of the fourth quarter, Cary scored to take the 28-21. Apex had an opportunity to answer, but they were sacked on fourth down as time was winding down. As soon as Cary touched the ball, Deandre Henry took off for another touchdown that iced the game for a 35-21 victory.
