With Andover opening in 2002, many students grew up together on the same baseball, basketball and hockey teams. The bond between the two high school programs is very deep and goes beyond Friday night. The games are always close and it’s considered more of a fun rivalry than anything.

GAME SUMMARY

This particular game at Goodrich Field had a little bit of everything as Anoka made a 27-20 halftime score stand to send Andover to an 0-4 start to the 2015 season. Both offenses traded scores to the tune of more than 530 yards offense in the first half alone before each struggled to gain any ground in the second half.
