This is what many football fans in the state of Tennessee would describe as the best rivalry in the entire state. Two schools, separated by 5 miles, who are at the top of the rankings for their respective classes, year in and year out. This year’s matchup was another classic, with Alcoa coming off of a 3A state championship in 2015 and Maryville coming off of a 6A state runner up in 2015.
