Hayden is the son of Jerry and Robyn Hairston. He is a returning Senior starting kicker for the Milton Eagles. He played in the Great American Rivalry game last year where he connected on a 32 yard field goal and 5 extra points in a 40-7 victory over Roswell. He has been place kicking since the third grade and holds numerous age group records for place kicking distances and point totals in local youth football associations. As a middle schooler, he was selected three times as a Georgia Future Star where he played for the State of Georgia in the Georgia-Florida All-Star game. As a Junior, Hayden was an All-Region honorable mention and selected to play in the Georgia Elite Classic game where he drained a 54 yard field goal. More importantly, Hayden embodies the role of scholar-athlete and excels in the classroom with over a 4.0 GPA while taking advance placement and dual enrollment courses. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is an officer in the Future Business Leaders of America. He is proud to be the grandson of two Vietnam era veterans: one is a retired Marine and the other a former Army Special Forces Green Beret. He hopes to play college football and is undecided on where he will attend.
