Joe Anderson is the true leader of our football team on and off the field. We have had some of our seniors opt out this year because we are playing football in a 7 v 7 format this year in Vermont and some of our kids decided not to play because it is not real football. I believe this speaks to Joe's character and love for the game and taking this as a new challenge. He has been a great role model for our younger players and has been an example for them to emulate. In my opinion, this will be the most important year of football in Rutland history and will have a great impact on the future of football in Vermont and Rutland. Joe Anderson and others are what makes coaching the game of football so great.
