Welcome to Doyle Stadium, where the St. Rita Mustangs will host the traveling Providence Catholic Celtics of Providence Catholic High School. In a historic rivalry that has spanned decades, this Illinois matchup is one of over 100 featured games in the 23rd season of the Great American Rivalry Series. 

Currently, both programs have traded momentum over the years, with each side earning key victories in the series. Last season added another intense chapter, as the Mustangs and Celtics delivered a physical, hard-fought contest that went down to the wire. 

Both programs have enjoyed strong postseason success, with St. Rita and Providence Catholic each building championship traditions and producing memorable playoff runs. The rivalry has also featured numerous standout players who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. 

Mark your calendar for August 21st, as fans will be on the edge of their seats for another installment of this Chicago-area showdown.

Jake is a true example of what it means to be a student athlete and representative of St. Rita. He is an extremely hard worker for the Mustangs offense as a wide receiver, and an exemplary student in the classroom as he holds a 4.69 GPA. Outside of Football, Jake is on the honor roll and is a member of the student government. After high school, he is undecided on where he will attend but plans to continue his academic career at the next level.
Tate Pietrzyk

Providence Catholic

Tate is a hard worker, who is very tough, and true example of what it means to represent Providence Catholic. On the field, he is leader of the defense, while off the field he is a leader in the classroom where he boasts a 4.49 GPA. Outside of football Tate is also a member of the baseball and bass fishing team. After high school, he is undecided where he will attend, but he plans to continue his academic career at the next level.
