Welcome to Detwiler Stadium on the New Jersey Shore, where the Central Regional Golden Eagles will travel to face the Indians of Toms River South. This is one of over 100 featured games in the 22nd season of the Great American Rivalry Series. 

A rivalry that began in 1970 has been evenly matched, with both teams tallying six wins in their series since 2004. 

Last season saw an epic battle between the two in the Division Title game. The heavy road underdog, Toms River South, upset the Golden Eagles in a thrilling 33–26 victory to secure the division title. Their win was sparked by a first-quarter fake punt pass that went for a 65-yard score, shifting the momentum of the game. Prior to that matchup, Central Regional had enjoyed an excellent undefeated season, winning their first eight games. 

Mark your calendars for October 10th, 2025, as 4,000 fans will be on the edge of their seats to see whether Central Regional can avenge their division title loss or if Toms River South can continue their winning streak.
