Welcome to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, where the Saint Xavier Tigers host the Trinity Shamrocks. In a historic rivalry that began in 1956, this matchup is one of over 100 featured games in the 22nd season of the Great American Rivalry Series. 

In their 80 prior meetings, the two teams have been incredibly competitive, and this game is known as one of the largest high school football rivalries in the state of Kentucky. Currently, the Shamrocks hold a narrow 41-37-2 lead over the Tigers, but last season, Saint Xavier was able to defeat Trinity in a defensive battle, 16-10. 

Notable players who have participated in this series include Desmond Ridder (Saint Xavier) and Rondale Moore (Trinity), both of whom are currently in the NFL.
