This is one of America’s oldest rivalry games with its first one being played in 1897. It is traditionally the last game of the season for these teams from neighboring in townships in Pennsylvania. Up until the last 15 years, Lower Merion held the dominant upper hand in this rivalry. When the Aces won the 100th contest, a 27-20 victory in front of 6,000 fans at Arnold Field, Lower Merion held a 53-36-11 advantage. Currently, the Aces hold the lead with a 56-51-11 record.

Radnor defeated Lower Merion, 34-0, at Prevost Field in the 119th edition of the Lower Merion-Radnor rivalry, which is one of the oldest continuous public high school rivalries in the United States. Game MVP Jack Horvath ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns and scored another on a screen pass. Wilson hauled in four receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown. He also had 46 yards on the ground. Behind those two, a stout line and a swarming defense, the Raiders came out victorious for the 16th time in their last 19 meetings with the Aces.
