The Great American Rivalry Series is comprised of the biggest high school football rivalries from around the country. At each game, the top scholar-athletes from each team are awarded a scholarship and a chance to make the Scholar-Athlete Hall of Fame Team. This team is in partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. The top 25 vote-getters will be honored with an extra $500 scholarship and a spot on the team as a result of their commitment to excellence on the field and in the classroom.

After the first week of voting, here is how the top 5 sits.

Continuing to be at the top of the leaderboard is Hunter VanMeter from Fort Hill High School. A strong week of voting helps Hunter to lead the way.

Just behind in second is Seth Miller from Dallastown High School. Seth continues his strong run as he shoots for the top spot.

Surging ahead to third place thanks after good showing is Joseph Reali from Concord High School. Votes came pouring in for Joseph as he jumps a spot in the standings.

Moving into fourth place after a big week is Sebastian Meriano from Blue Valley Northwest High School. Sebastian continues to move up the list as he hopes to stay near the top.

Rounding out the top in fifth place is John Fiore III from Bergen Catholic High School. A strong week kept John in the top 5.

Voting is open until Tuesday, December 14th at 11:59 PM EST and is not restricted so continue to vote early and often!
