As far as freshman seasons in college football go, they don’t get much better than Rondale Moore at Purdue in 2018. Moore was recently named Big Ten Freshman of the year and Big Ten receiver of the year. It’s easy to see why with games like this one.

Some may be surprised by Rondale Moore’s sudden rise to prominence in the Big 10 and all of college football, but we here at The Great American Rivalry Series saw this coming. We watched Moore run circles all over the St. Xavier defense as his Trinity Shamrocks dominated their rivalry game against the Tigers 28-0 in 2017. He finished with 7 carries for 108 yards on his way to being named MVP in the game. The rivalry win was just one of countless examples of Rondale Moore dominating opponents’ defenses. Now, he’s doing the same thing at the college level for Purdue.
