Southridge (LA)

Coach Mastrud was the school’s first football coach hired when it came into existence in 1999. He coached the team for 12 seasons until the 2011 season. During this time his teams won 3 metro league championships in 2005, 2007, and 2011. In 2006 his team made an unlikely run through the playoffs and played in the Oregon State Championship Game. Two seasons later in 2008 his team became Oregon State Champions. Coach Mastrud has had an impact on hundreds of student athletes during his tenure, two of those being his sons Kellen and Jeron who played for their dad. Jeron is currently playing tight end for the Miami Dolphins and Kellen is finishing his degree at University of Oregon. Southridge wants to congratulate Coach Mastrud on a job well done and his contributions to the Southridge football program, school and community.
