Chris Douglass graduated from Victor Valley High School in 1978 and played varsity football for 3 years, which included three Axe rivalry games against Barstow High School. After College in 1984, he started teaching and coaching at Victor Valley. He taught and coached football for 16 years; he also coached basketball for one year. He was an assistant principal at Victor Valley six years and the principal for 10 years. Mr. Douglass ended his 32 year career after celebrating the centennial of Victor Valley High School during the 2015-16 school year.
