CLASS OF 2014

P.J. Katz

Brookwood (GA)

PJ Katz played for the Broncos for two years in the rivalry series with Parkview in 2004 and 2005. But it was the 2005 game where he really got the opportunity to make his mark. PJ caught a play-action pass from quarterback David Pittman and took it 80 yards for a key touchdown that sparked the Broncos to a big 35-14 win at Parkview and the beginning of a three year win streak in the series. The 2005 Broncos finished with a 14-1 record and were State 5-A runners up.

PJ went on to become a wide receiver at Valdosta where he played on their 2007 National Championship team. He is currently in his third year as a wide receivers coach for his Alma Mater at Brookwood.
