In their last matchup in the playoffs in April for the 2020/2021 season, Western Alamance defeated Eastern Alamance with a game final of 14-7. With this game originating in 1965, the rivalry between East and West Alamance is a stable game in North Carolina. James is a multi-sport athlete, earning Academic All-Conference honors in football, tennis, and basketball, on which he is also a team captain. He is a member of the Student Council and an officer of the National Honor Society. When he’s not in school or on the field, James is active in the First Baptist Church Youth Group.
Jackson Miles

Eastern Alamance

A true jack-of-all-trades, Jackson has maintained a 4.2 GPA while working on his family farm and playing as a varsity lineman. He was an honorable mention for All-Conference last year and received preseason All State honors. He plans to pursue his dreams on the gridiron at the college level.


Eastern Alamance play hosts as they dominate their rival Western Alamance 41-20. Casen McCauley leads the Eagles and claims MVP honors. The Eagles of Eastern Alamance improve to 3-1 and add another win to their streak; meanwhile the Warriors of Western Alamance fall to 1-4.
