Under the lights at The Bridge, the West Linn Lions dominated their rivals in the annual Battle for the Bridge, defeating Oregon City 49–14 in a commanding performance. The Lions struck early and often, setting the tone behind the powerful running of Viggo Anderson, who rushed for 147 yards and four touchdowns to lead the way. Quarterback Sloan Baker kept the offense rolling, throwing for over 250 yards and three scores as West Linn built a comfortable halftime lead. Oregon City found the end zone twice but struggled to keep pace with the Lions’ explosive offense and physical defense. West Linn controlled the game on both sides of the ball, capitalizing on turnovers and executing with precision from start to finish. When the clock hit zero, the Lions stood tall at 9–0, extending their win streak to 14 games, while Oregon City fell to 4–5 after a tough rivalry loss in front of a packed West Linn crowd.
