From the opening kickoff, Summerville set the tone with sharp execution and physical defense. Fort Dorchester’s first drive showed some promise, highlighted by a long pass that moved the chains, but a missed field goal left points off the board. The Green Wave quickly capitalized with a balanced attack that resulted in a field goal, then broke free for a long rushing touchdown to grab a 10–0 lead after one quarter. In the second quarter, Summerville took full control. A precise passing attack extended the margin to 17–0, and another score through the air just before halftime made it 24–0. The dominance continued after the break, as the Green Wave powered in two more touchdowns on the ground to stretch the lead to 37–0, overwhelming Fort Dorchester on both sides of the ball.

Fort Dorchester finally found some life in the fourth quarter, scoring twice through the air to close the gap to 37–14, but the outcome was never in doubt. Summerville’s early surge and balanced offense proved too much to handle, as the Green Wave rolled to a statement win in one of the Lowcountry’s most heated rivalries.
