The Rio Rancho Rams and Cleveland Storm took the field for their historic rivalry and were ready to fight for the win. The Storm jumped out with an early lead, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and 21 in the second to take full control before halftime. Rio Rancho had a burst in the second quarter putting 7 pts on the board. Rio Rancho was unrelenting and scored another touchdown late in the third quarter. They were unable to fend off Cleveland’s charge on the ground though. Cleveland had over 150 rushing yards. On defense, Cleveland stifled Rio Rancho’s run game and forced two interceptions, including a pick-six! Ultimately the Storm could not be stopped and they took home the rivalry trophy, with a final score of 49-14.The win extended Cleveland’s streak to six straight and improved their record to 9-1, while Rio Rancho fell to 6-4, snapping their four-game winning run.

Jordan is a four-year letterman for the Cleveland High School football team and a key contributor to two state championship seasons. As a member of the National Honor Society, he exemplifies excellence both on and off the field. In addition to his athletic and academic achievements, Jordan has dedicated numerous hours to volunteering with local charities. After graduation, he plans to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before continuing his football career at the collegiate level.
