The Thursday night lights were shining bright for the Parkway Panthers as they delivered their most dominant Brotherton Bowl performance since 2015. Despite coming in with five straight losses to Parkway, Haughton opened strong with a touchdown on their opening drive to grab early momentum. That spark quickly faded as the Panthers exploded for five straight touchdowns in the first quarter alone, three of which were set up by costly Haughton turnovers. Parkway’s offense continued to roll in the second quarter, adding two more scores to take a commanding 52–21 lead at halftime. The Panthers didn’t ease up after the break, punching in two more touchdowns in the third quarter before pulling their starters for the final frame. The defense matched the energy, shutting down any chance of a Buccaneer comeback. By the time the final whistle blew, Parkway had secured a 66–21 victory, their largest margin in the rivalry in nearly a decade. With the win, the Panthers improved to 3-0 on the season and kept their undefeated record intact, while Haughton dropped to 1-2 and will look to regroup to save their season.
