Since 1960, Notre Dame High School and Crespi Carmelite High School have battled in an annual rivalry; however, 2013 would mark the end of the regular season match-up as the two (2) high schools are going into separate leagues in fall 2014. Moving forward if the two (2) teams are going to battle it will have to be in post-season play.

GAME SUMMARY

There was reason for concern as Notre Dame got off to a 21-0 start and would lead the game from start-to-finish by a final score of 41-27. To Crespi’s credit they battled back and with 4 minutes remaining in the game and narrowed the margin to 7 as the score was 34-27, but that was as close as the Celts would get.
