The 53rd matchup of the “Big Game” brought extreme excitement yet again to Memorial Stadium in Napa, California. Amassing a crowd of over 8,000 people the energy was buzzing throughout early on with both student bodies showing out. Early touchdowns from QB Blake Porter jumped Vintage out to an early 15-0 lead. The Crushers added two more touchdowns in the second quarter to take a commanding 30-0 lead into the half. Again, Eventual MVP Blake Porter threw another touchdown in the third quarter, that would prove to be the final points of the game to solidify Vintage’s 37-0 win. This was the 12th straight victory for Vintage in the “Big Game.” The Crushers move to 5-0 and continue their pursuit of perfection, while Napa fell to 2-3 at the halfway point in the season.

Karson has played football for 4 years at Napa High School. In his limited spare time, he has a job and he is also a volunteer fire fighter for Cal Fire. Academically, Karson has earned the Lamp of Knowledge for all four years at Napa High School. For his future endeavors, Karson wants to be a fire fighter.

David earned 2nd team All-League honors last year. He takes the time to contribute time to support our community in various volunteering opportunities. David plans to attend college in the future and is in the top 18% of his graduating class.
