Under the Friday night lights, Mission Viejo delivered a commanding 56–7 victory over Long Beach Poly, showcasing their most complete performance of the season. The Jackrabbits opened with energy, but once the Diablos found their rhythm, the game quickly swung in their favor. Quarterback Luke Fahey was nearly unstoppable, picking apart the defense with precision passes and strong leadership. His connection with his top Wide Receiver, Jack Junker, fueled a first-half surge that saw Mission Viejo score 4 straight touchdowns to seize control before halftime. Mission’s defense matched that intensity, forcing turnovers and keeping Poly’s offense quiet for most of the night. By the fourth quarter, the Diablos had built an insurmountable lead, allowing their backups to close out the game. When the dust settled, Mission Viejo stood tall at 6–1, while Long Beach Poly dropped to 3–3, left searching for answers after a humbling defeat.
