The Lawton vs. Eisenhower showdown was a dominant performance by the Wolverines, packed with explosive plays and relentless defense! MVP and QB1, #4 Joseph Simpson, set the tone early with a spectacular 60-yard touchdown run, sparking the offensive surge. In the second quarter, #6 Anthony Rodriguez delivered a massive hit after a botched punt, setting up another score that kept the momentum rolling. #23 Quovon Coston showcased his athleticism, finding the end zone three times, including a thrilling 40-yard touchdown run for his first of the night. The Wolverine defense was equally impressive, shutting Eisenhower out completely until the final five seconds of the fourth quarter, when they scored their only touchdown, sealing an unforgettable rivalry victory for Lawton!

Mason is a leader on and off the field as a key member of the Wolverines’ varsity offensive line. He has served as Master Councilor of the John S. Perry DeMolay chapter, organizing food drives and volunteering to assist elderly and disabled community members. Mason also volunteers alongside his father through the IBEW on service projects across the country. His future plans include studying computer or electrical engineering at the University of Oklahoma or another school offering strong academic and athletic opportunities. If not attending college, Mason plans to follow his family’s tradition by joining the IBEW JATC Electrical Apprenticeship program to become a Union Journeyman Wireman/Electrician.

Nicolas Bryn has excelled both on and off the field throughout his high school career. A dedicated athlete, Nic is a two-year starter for the Eisenhower football team, where his commitment, work ethic, and leadership have been key to his success. In addition to football, he has competed in track for the past two years, showcasing his versatility and determination in athletics. Beyond sports, Nic is a respected member of the EHS Senior Leadership Class, where he demonstrates strong character, responsibility, and a commitment to serving his school community. After graduation, he plans to further his education and career goals by attending Great Plains Technology Center. The Great American Rivalry Series is proud to honor Nicolas Bryn for his achievements and to celebrate the positive impact he has made at Eisenhower High School.
